Toss your boots on for this hands-on introduction to life as a wrangler at Firefall Ranch and assist our experienced wranglers in preparing the horses for their morning Horseback Riding Adventures. This includes feeding, grooming, and learning to saddle. Receive your very own private riding lesson before setting out for a public, one-hour Horseback Riding Adventure
As the horses return from their adventure, you’ll receive a hands-on lesson in post-ride care by assisting in getting them ready for their mid-day break. You'll be removing tack, grooming, checking for signs of soreness or fatigue, and so much more.
TRIP TIME
7AM-12:30PM, with option to return for a Horseback Riding Adventure.
GROUP SIZE
1 participant per wrangler. Reservations recommended. Contact Guest Services for availability and pricing for additional participants.
PRICE
$175 per person (age 10 and up). Includes one Horseback Riding Adventure and a lunch voucher for use in our General Store.
DIFFICULTY/AGE LIMIT
Participant should be comfortable around large animals. Suitable for individuals ages 10 and up.
MEETING PLACE
All trips meet at the Firefall Ranch reception desk 45 minutes before departure.
WHAT TO BRING
• Completed trip registration forms
• At least 32 oz water and snacks
• Proper footwear–closed toe shoes
• Long pants recommended
• Bug repellant, sunscreen and sunglasses
OTHER INFORMATION
• Maximum weight: 250 lbs
• All riders must wear helmets
• We strive to accommodate all guests and can provide support for some disabilities upon request—please call ahead to discuss your needs.
• Guide gratuity is not included; for exemplary service, a 10-20% tip is customary
