OFFERED IN SPRING & FALL*
This 7.6-mile hike takes you to breathtaking panoramic views of Yosemite Valley and picturesque views of both Yosemite Falls and Half Dome. During spring or early summer witness Yosemite Falls roaring and in full effect. This is the ultimate stairmaster hike so prepare yourself for a strenuous workout. Your naturalist guide will take you to the top of the highest waterfall in North America (2,450 feet).

This will be an experience you are sure to remember for the rest of your life. Witness spectacular and unique views of Yosemite Valley, its meadows, and Half Dome as you make your way to the Valley Rim. Learn about the human and geologic history of Yosemite Valley. Get views of the Yosemite High Country that can only be achieved from a higher elevation. If you are looking for a challenge and a way to see breathtaking views of both waterfalls and the valley from above, this is the tour for you.

TRIP TIME
8:45am-4:45pm

GROUP SIZE
Up to 9 participants. Reservations recommended. Contact Recreation Desk for availability for groups of 8 or more.

PRICE
$195 per person, ages 14 and up. Includes transportation, naturalist guide, and lunch voucher for use in our General Store. Additional $20 park admission fee per adult (waived for Yosemite Annual Pass or America the Beautiful Pass holders).

DIFFICULTY/AGE LIMIT
Participants 14 years and up should be comfortable hiking up to 7.6-miles on steep terrain traveling from 3,967 ft. to 6,526 ft. in elevation.

MEETING PLACE
Meet 15 minutes before departure at the Rush Creek Lodge Recreation Desk (located in the Guest Lounge).

WHAT TO BRING
• Completed trip registration forms
• Small backpack with at least 3 liters of water and snacks
• Proper footwear–tennis shoes or hiking boots
• Layered clothing, including wind/rain jacket or fleece
• Bug repellant, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
• Camera and binoculars (optional)
• Swimsuit and towel

OTHER INFORMATION
• Our first-aid-certified guides carry first aid kits, permits, maps, radios/cell phones, and water filters
• Guide gratuity is not included; for exemplary service, a 10-20% tip is customary
