OFFERED IN SPRING & FALL*
Head deep into the seldom traveled Hetch Hetchy Valley on this 13 mile (round trip) hike to Rancheria Falls. You will pass 1000 foot Wapama Falls on your way. During this hike your naturalist guide will point out the local flora and fauna as well as discuss the history of Hetch Hetchy O’Shaughnessy Dam, one of the most controversial issues in national park history. This trek is a great opportunity to see many of our furry and scaly friends, maybe even a bear! Get ready for a great experience in this dramatic, crowd-free jewel of Yosemite. Expect a long day hike in which the rewards greatly outweigh the efforts.
