Promoters and developers hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday for about 100 people at the new locally-owned Firefall Ranch resort east of Groveland, which is now accepting guest reservations that begin May 8.
When it opens for business next week, Firefall Ranch will have 55 stand-alone cottages and villas, a main lodge, and general store; a tavern/bar/grill restaurant and a formal dining restaurant; a pool house with game rooms, changing rooms, and restrooms; and a separate events center.
Promoters say Firefall Ranch is part of the First Light Resorts, which includes Rush Creek Lodge and Spa and Evergreen Lodge.
